The core of the SBCS is the Cisco UC 500 Series appliance.
Available in models supporting 24 to 138 users with POTS, BRI, PRI, and T1 SIP PSTN interfaces, the UC 500 supports multiple locations, offers PoE ports to power phones, and provides firewall capabilities.
The Cisco UC 500 can be expanded with the addition of Cisco ESW 500 Series switches and the Cisco AP 500 Series wireless access points.
